SWAT/SRT Qualification Drill

With roots in the MARSOC, but developed by an advisor from Blackwater for Louisiana SWAT/SRT this course of fire is the gold standard any person who carries a gun should aspire to achieve. The following course of fire is apart of training for SWAT/SRT across the country.

 

Goal: Complete all drills under the time allotted with a score of 90/100 or 225/250 (depends on target and agreed upon rules for course of fire).

 

Loading: 50 Rounds total, 3 rifle magazines of 10 rounds each, and 2 pistol magazines of 10 rounds each.

 

Important: Version A of the drill does not require the use of the left or right dots, Version B does Changes will be marked as such.

Version A Course of Fire:

1A. 50 Yards (yds)

With the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso standing, 2 rounds to the torso kneeling in 10 seconds

 

2A. 50-25 yds

Run to the 25 yard line, with the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso standing and 2 rounds to the torso kneeling in 12 seconds

 

3A. 25 yds

With the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso standing right side barricade, reload the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso standing left side barricade in 12 seconds

 

4A. 25-15 yds

Run to the 15 yard line, with the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso standing in 6 seconds

 

5A. 15 yds

With the rifle, face right, fire 2 rounds to the torso after completing a 90 degree turn in 3 seconds

 

6A. 15 yds

With the rifle, face left, fire 2 rounds to the torso after completing a 90 degree turn in 3 seconds

 

7A. 15-7 yds

Run to the 7 yard line, with the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso, transition to the pistol, fire 2 rounds to the torso in 8 seconds

 

8A. 7 yards

With rifle, fire 4 rounds to the torso in 2 seconds

 

9A. 7-4 yds

While walking from the 7-4 yard line, with the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso in 3 seconds

 

10A. 4-7 yds

While walking backwards from the 4-7 yard line, with the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso in 2 seconds

 

11A. 7 yds

With the rifle, fire 2 rounds to the torso, transition to the pistol fire 2 rounds to the torso (rifle empty) in 5 seconds

 

12A. 7 yds

Attempt to fire the rifle, transition to the pistol and fire 2 rounds to the torso strong hand only, standing in 4 seconds

 

13A. 7 yds

With the pistol, from the low ready position, fire 2 rounds to the torso support hand only, standing in 3 seconds

 

14A. 7 yds

Attempt to fire the rifle, transition to the pistol and fire 2 rounds to the torso, reload fire 2 rounds to the torso in 8 seconds

 

15A. 7-4 yds

While walking from the 7-4 yard line, attempt to fire the rifle transition to the pistol and fire 2 rounds to the torso in 4 seconds

 

16A. 4 yds

Attempt to fire the rifle, transition to pistol and fire 4 rounds to the torso in 5 seconds

 

17A. 4 yds

Attempt to fire the rifle, transition to the pistol and fire 2 rounds to the head, standing in 3 seconds

 

Version B Course of Fire:

Too easy for you?

Race Mod: Multiply all allotted times by 75% or 50%

Armored Threat Mod: Replace all body shots with shots to the head score zone.

Try Hard Mod: Run the whole course of fire as one continuous drill in under 100 seconds.

Try Harder Mod: Run the whole course of fire as one continuous drill replacing all body shots with head shots completing in under 75 seconds.
